Casa Alfarroba – named for the huge and ancient carob tree that grows in the garden and offers some lovely natural shade – is a single storey, semi-detached house with its own private swimming pool. The interiors are homely and very well equipped with everything you might need for a week or two away. The outside space is also well set up, with attractive, mature gardens surrounding the pool deck, and a large built-in barbecue for easy family meals. You can look forward to long sunny days on a pool lounger, book in hand and a drink by your side, relaxed in the knowledge that it’s just a stroll into town if you want to shop for dinner or enjoy a meal at one of Carvoeiro’s many excellent restaurants.
There’s plenty of comfortable seating both inside and outside the villa, so if you’ve come looking to simply rest and recharge your batteries with a bit of sunshine and sea air, this is the perfect spot. And once you’re feeling refreshed and ready to explore a little, Carvoeiro offers plenty of gentle activity, with watersports and boat trips to see the fantastic Algarve caves and cliffscapes available directly from the beach, plus a very scenic coastal path to explore on foot. Quinta do Paraíso resort nearby also has tennis courts, mini golf, table tennis and large pool areas which can be used on a daily membership/fee basis.
