What a little gem Stella Cottage is! A real home from home, beautiful location with a terrace giving stunning views across the ocean watching the world go by. The cottage was very comfortable, cute and quirky and felt very authentic. Tina (our Simpson rep) met us at the airport and popped in to see us the morning after arrival, she gave lots of good advice and tips for our holiday without taking up too much of our time. She was very knowledgeable of the area and very approachable.

What a gorgeous view to wake up to each morning! We shall miss the sound of the sea on the doorstep. We’ve enjoyed watching (through the binoculars!) all the action in front of us – looking up the super yachts and their weekly chartering prices!! We have simply kicked back this week and enjoyed the delights of Fiscardo, Foki Beach and Emblissi Beach. All the restaurants we’ve tried have been excellent. Would recommend Fiscardo Daily Cruises as a wonderful day out in a range of places and in Ithica. If you’re a longer distance swimmer – watch out for the jellyfish – a few nasty stings! If you’re a runner, a gentle jog to Emblissi and back + Foki beaches is a nice start to the day. Thank you to Tina for all her help and advice and Adonis for his lovely canary song!

A lovely week in Fiscardo , Kefalonia. Our accommodation ( Stella Cottage ) was very well equipped and comfortable , with fabulous panoramic views from the private verandah. A lot of good restaurants just 10 minutes walk away in Fiscardo harbour. All communications with Simpson Travel went well and our concierge Tina was excellent , very helpful , friendly and a source of much useful information.

A wonderful place to relax in a perfect location... and watch the boats. Not just the fantastic view, but 15 mins walk to Fiskardo with a choice of many good tavernas and only 10 mins walk to Foki beach with shade from olive trees and a friendly family taverna open 10–5. Tina was excellent in guiding us and helping me source items for my special diet – thank you. The covered terrace was a huge bonus for shade at the beginning of our week and shelter from the torrential rain at the end! We appreciated the very comfortable bed and the air con which we had to use to keep us warm one cool evening!! The food delivery was also an asset as we had no car. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

We've had a lovely week here in Fiskardo, all very relaxing and peaceful. Stella Cottage is a very comfortable and well appointed holiday home and we've spent hours watching the world go by from the terrace – what a view! Went to 3 beaches for swimming – Emplisi, Jerusalem & Foki. Foki our favourite with its natural shade, but the taverna at Jerusalem has excellent food. We tried most of the restaurants around Fiskardo harbour. All pretty good. So a big thank you to Antonis for his very friendly and informative welcome, much appreciated and to Tina for lots of guidance and excellent communications throughout our stay.

We had a week at Stella Cottage in early October. Your support on arrival was what we had become used to - a rep at the airport, a smooth transfer and then a welcome from the owner. Karen visited us the next morning and gave us a lot of tips and information. She also brought a birthday card and present for my wife, which was a lovely thought. We acted on two of her suggestions which allowed us to see a lot of the island. Where Karen became a lifesaver was on the last day when it became apparent that our flight home was severely delayed but no information was forthcoming from the airline or the airport. She kept in touch by phone and kept us as informed as she could do. This was in marked contrast to the travel company who were providing the flight. Karen even checked that we had made it back to the UK. She has also been a source of valuable information to allow us to pick our next property with you. We cannot thank her enough.

Stella Cottage was everything we had hoped for. Charming little cottage, brilliantly situated just a 10min stroll from Fiskado harbour along the beautiful coast road. We very much enjoyed our week at Stella Cottage. It was comfortable and everything we required was there. Perfect quiet situation, sitting on the terrace watching boats go by on the sea was very relaxing. Stony beach for a swim 10 minute walk (take beach shoes for bumpy ground in sea). Shops and excellent tavernas also 10 min walk away. We didn’t feel the need for a car and did a couple of long walks from the door.

The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need and with a stunning view. We spent many hours watching the comings and goings of yachts and the local cats! A car free holiday isn’t always easy but Fiskardo provided all we needed on our doorstep. Stella Cottage has a captivating view from its terrace and is in a wonderful location - turn right for a short walk to the beach, or turn left for a similarly short walk into the main harbour area and all the restaurants of Fiskardo. Fiskardo itself really is a most beautiful area, perfect for a relaxed getaway, which was exactly what we had hoped for. We will be back!

At Stella Cottage we found all the ingredients for a truly relaxing and peaceful holiday. We loved swimming from the rocks just below the villa and visits to nearby Foki beach with its crystal clear water and welcome shade from olive trees. We also discovered other unspoiled and quiet beaches such as Kamila beach – just a pleasant walk away. The highlight of our stay had to be the beautiful view from the balcony across the bay to the old lighthouse and mountains beyond. Simple pleasures included a daily walk to collect freshly baked bread and cakes from the Old Bakery and most evenings wandering into Fiskardo to eat at one of the excellent waterfront tavernas. Wherever we went we found a warm welcome, great food and service. Many thanks to Laura, our local representative, and the Simpson Travel team for yet another memorable holiday!

Stella Cottage is excellently located and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace looking at the view and watching the incredible yachts come and go. It's a short walk to Foki beach, which was lovely, and the beach taverna there is excellent. Fiskardo, also a short walk away, is a beautiful village with many good restaurants and cafés/bars. We have just spent a very relaxing, chilled out week in Stella Cottage in Kefalonia. The view was wonderful which made it very tempting to stay put on the terrace watching the super yachts sailing in and out of Fiskardo Harbour. This was our third visit to Fiskardo, therefore we did not bother with a car this time. There are plenty of restaurants/tavernas within walking distance and we had already explored the island on our previous visits. We did, however, walk to unspoilt Foki beach, to the deserted village near Antepata and to the lighthouse which we could see from our terrace on the other side of the bay. Swimming was also possible from the rocks just below Stella Cottage. The weather and location were truly perfect. We are looking forward to our next Simpson Travel holiday!
