Cynmar sits on the highest part of its lush plot, with palm trees swaying gently overhead and bright bougainvillea lending a sub-tropical feel. Inside, the décor is cheerfully contemporary, the fixtures are modern and the space is generous. French doors lead straight from the living area to the pool and dining terrace where you can laze the day away lost in a novel or your favourite podcast. If you’re not the lounging type, there’s table tennis and even a mini putting green to the rear of the house, a perfect first step for budding young golfers. Alternatively, take a stroll down to Carvoeiro beach, or walk out to the impressive Algar Seco rocks, which are extra photogenic at sunset.
With all this plus shops and restaurants to hand, Cynmar makes a fabulous fly-and-flop option when you just need a complete break, but if you want to discover further without having to drive, you can also hop on the Seven Hanging Valleys circuit bus to discover the region’s most stunning beaches and clifftop trails.
