The villa sits on a large, secluded and enclosed plot near the Vale do Garrão residential development, encircled by lovely, lush gardens to give you enviable privacy as well as ample play space for the younger ones in your party. The pool is the centre of the outdoor attention here; generously sized at 12m long, with plenty of room on the terrace for quiet afternoons catching up on your reading, or a family barbecue night with your favourite people. Tennis fans should note that while the court wouldn’t pass muster at Wimbledon, it is ideal for leisure players looking for some game play without having to book a slot or even leave the grounds. And whether or not you play, the sense of space and absence of any near neighbours at Villa Damar really does make it feel like your own private holiday oasis.
When you want to feel sand between your toes instead of grass, glorious beaches flanked by the Algarve's famous golden sandstone cliffs are about 2.5km away, walkable if you’re up for stroll or the shortest of drives if you’re laden with family beach paraphernalia.
